Services Breakdown

At MasterLink we offer a range of services from basic recording (tracking), mixing & production and composition & arrangement sessions. In the past couple of years, as well as recording bands, we have done a lot of work one on one with writers and artists helping them bring their songs to a commercial standard. All of these services are covered in our pricing.

With all studio bookings a 50% deposit must be paid before the beginning of the first session. Final payment must be made by the end of the final session and no audio material will be released until full payment has been received.

Discounts are available for bookings of three days or more although we may ask for a staggered payment for longer sessions.

At the end of the final session the recorded material may be transferred onto audio CD (if applicable) at no extra cost, it is advisable for the client to bring an external hard drive or USB stick to store their material.

All bookings and sessions are subject to our Terms & Conditions, please read them carefully.

Studio

Analogue & Digital

At MasterLink we have invested the time to source the right gear for the studio, from the outboard compressors and EQ’s to the headphone monitoring and instruments. You’ll find a great blend of equipment from our control surface which brings back ‘hands-on’ mixing, the intuitive Pro Tools software which makes editing a breeze to our analogue gear such as the Focusrite channel strip, the Drawmer valve compressor and connecting everything together, the patchbay. It’s also a great place to be with custom studio furniture & the excellent APS Aeon’s providing monitoring.

Getting it right at the source

We believe it’s about getting a performance from who ever is in the studio be it a solo artist, voiceover or band so we have individual headphone mixers, great headphones by Beyerdynamic and studio monitors in the live room so the artist can listen to takes more easily. We have spent years getting our heads around mic technique and we’re very proud of what we do so we take the time to make sure everything is miked up properly so, for example, if a band is taking a project away to mix the session files will sound great right out of the box.

Location is everything

We’re located only 30 miles south west of central London and only 5 mins from the M25 but we’re still in the heart of the Surrey countryside and we attract many clients looking for a studio outside of London. See our contact section for details.
